A week my truck was starting up and running ok it has a stock chip flashed! I ordered a new after market chip, but in the mean time i went away for 3 days came home and the truck will not start: i know it has fuel pressure, coil gets spark and distributor is getting spark! Im sure i have compression! I changed the ignition module yesterday and still nothing it just cranks and cranks... please help:roll:

Its possible some critter could have gotten in there and chewed some wiring, have you checked the wiring around the ecu and inspected the rest of the harness for damage?

It all looks ok for the most part, but if new ecm and new chip dont work i will be tracing every wire >_<

still nothing...just cranks fast and rpm gauge is moving fast wen cranking
wont start still..new chip new ecm just cranks fast! i tried putting new rotor in and it acted like it wanted to fire and i then changed cap after and then it acted like before just cranks fast! i put a new ign control mod in from az last week idk if they rly could of sold me a bad one but coil is getting spark and so are plugs..plugs are a little foiled out from being so rich when it was running but i think it should still start just run like crap...i read on some s10 fourms it could be ign switch under coloumn but idk about that! do sys have ckps? im so stumped?

i checked the fuses they are o.k..the last time it was running i had the timing set at 0 and since then i didnt touch it and it was running...went away for 3 days came home to start it and nothing began this cranking but no start problem! im going to try new plugs tmr and hope for the best...s10 guys some say it can be ign swtich under steering column but i dont think so! im so upset and confused like wat can it be! im going to check compression also but i dont know what could of happened in 3 days
