We're having a gathering of the Northland folks on Saturday, June 28.
There's nite racing at interstate that evening... $20 entry.
(see www.interstatedragways.com)

The nite races start at 6:30, and with a brand new track, we should see
some impressive numbers.

For the morning/afternoon, we're planning on gathering at Paul Rommesmo's place in Amenia, ND. Paul's got a big yard for parking, as
well as a shop for any wrenching that needs to be done. (Also for rain
plans)

We'll have at least a couple of laptop/Datamaster setups, a WB o2, and
hopefully one of the CATS RT tuner/Romulator setups there. Lots of
open, deserted roads for test/tuning purposes.

Plan is currently to get started at 10 AM, but for those of you who like
to sleep late, go ahead. Track caravan will leave at about 5.

Food will be handled by the Amenia bar, so you can eat whenever you
feel like it.

Amenia is about 25 miles west/NW of Fargo... I'll post more detailed
directions soon. (It's easy to find)

Should be a good time had by all. Thanks to Paul for offering to host!

Later,

I'll see what I can rally up here in the cities, Brett's truck will be done, mine will be there, and maybe a few others.

As promised, the directions:

Intersate 94 west to ND Hwy 18, Casselton exit. Exit 331, as I recall.
It's about 20 miles west of Fargo.

Turn and go North on Hwy 18 towards Casselton. Go through Casselton,
18 takes a little jog to the left (west) before heading north again.

Once you're out of town, continue on Hwy 18 for about 6 miles to the
north. You'll come upon the really small town of Amenia.

You'll come upon a beet piling station, which you'll know by a bunch
of culvert sections stacked up along the road. Take a left turn at the
piling station.

Once you cross the Railroad tracks, make a hard right... it's a narrow
gravel road that goes right along the tracks. About a 1/2 mile down,
at the end of the gravel road, is Paul's.

I hope to have #689 out of storage by then, but the week hasn't been
cooperating very well... may have to run get it Saturday AM.

Now Brett's truck wont be their

bad motor.

Come up anyway... beer-n-burgers, bench racing, smell of race gas.
Never a bad thing.

It looks like the weather's gonna shape up after a Week+ of heavy rain
around here, so we hopefully won't have that to deal with.

 I'll bring up a few squeegees. If it doesn't rain we can still use 'em to mop up the oil, I think its my turn to blow up.

Spent 8 hours last night installing drive train, I'm real lucky. Working on your back is fun, especially when a ratchet falls from up above and smacks ya in head, right between the eyes. I think I'm in the market for a second Syclone, the're just too much fun.
