Anybody know the thread/size of the stock oil drain plug?

Not sure on size, probably 7/16" or 1/2" but you can just go buy new ones at AZ or anywhere else.

I'm pretty sure it's 1/2"-20, but it may be something close which is metric.

That's what I was afraid of... my pan must have been redrilled.
I can push the 1/2-20 in with my fingers.

Wish I could find the original plug... dang 4-year rebuilds. At least I found it now, before it was back in the truck.

I think it's 9/16". I'm messing with mine right now.

Edit: I think mine is oversize based on a post by Hood...

just hammer a 3/4 fine thread bolt in there, doesn't matter the length.

I drilled it out and tapped it.... quite a while back.

Would have like the stock setup back in there... maybe someday I'll replace the pan.
