Hey guys,
As usual, I've got something else with my truck. I'm getting this whining noise while the truck is idling. It's coming from the back of the engine, what I thought was the cap + rotor, but after replacing that today, it's still whining. The only code the truck's throwing is a 13- open O2 sensor circuit. This is probably due to the air/fuel mix guage I put in. But the whine sonds like it's either the distributor, or the damn EGR valve on the plenum. Any insight on this would greatly help, so I don't start breaking my truck. If it is the EGR valve, where can I get a new one for this truck, besides the dealer :roll: ? The noise is driving me up a wall, and I must put an end to it. The truck don't have any loss of power, or losng power, just this fairly-loud whine PLEASE HELP!!!!!
