hey Trapper, how do you like the polish throttle body, it took me about 20 to polish it, since im replacing some parts im thinking of replacing the valve covers,

I polished my upper, spent about 6 hours on it, then decided to call it done. I'll posta pic when I get off my lazy ass(Janeto). It looks pretty good for the time I have in it. Could easily spend another 4 or 5 to make it pro looking. But it's good enuff for me.

I know my throttle body will never look that nice. I'm to lazy I would just paint it :rotf:

went to lowes and got some polishing compand that comes in tubes, one #5 that for cleaning and take crap off, #6 is the for polishing and brings out the shine, didnt take that long, actually took about 30 minutes to do it, got my drill and buffing pads and went to town!!! :tup:

did'nt polish the upper intake cause i like the orginal color grey, hell ya would take to long, and want to drive the syclone soon, hehehehe!!!!!!!!!

Polished upper intake over the winter. The hardest part was removing the coating after that a combo wheel will do the trick ( wheel sands and buffs at the same time ). Standard Abrasive makes a wide variety of combo wheels. No web info. I have a few friends in skilled trades.
