pcv valves?

I know that this has been covered a million times but I just want a more up to date answer, the way my truck is setup is I have a breather in the drivers side valve cover and in the pass. side I have one pcv valve going to my air intake, I know stock I would have another going to the throttlebody. Does anyone else have theres setup like mine?If so any issues? Reason im asking this is im just wondering if this is causing my oil leak.

I have mine set up the same way, (no problems) how do you have an oil leak? Did you plug the port on the TB?

Yea the TB port is plugged, when I first got my truck It had a oil leak and I bought some dye you put in the oil and I thought it was the oil feed line going to the turbo where it screws into the block so I tightend it up and every couple months there would still be drips of oil on my garage floor never really could figure out where it was coming from, well this past winter my ty sat for a while and the leak got alot worse and im thinking and others are thinking its the rear main seal.

i put a breather on my driverside valve cover, cause my stock airbox was sucking oil residue out of the valve cover, and puddling oil in the airbox, and silicon elbow.

:hijack: What port are you talking about on the TB? I also have 2 pcv's on the pas side. Mine is really screwd up. My drivers goes to a T that has the tube from the pass.'s side. the other side of the T goes to the air box. Is this accurate? Also, the port on the custom cold air box(made before I got the truck) goes in after the filter in the box, and I have a lot of build up in the box and in my silicone hose. I just noticed this today, and took pics that will up soon. SOMEONE TELL ME AN ANSWER!

passenger side has 2 pvcs for a stock set up

Ok, I will take care of that, but the one going to the air box is behind the filter, should'nt that be before the filter, so all the gunk don't form?

I Have An Oil Leak With A Hard Lauch With 10psi On The Pass Side--i Think The Pcv Is Causing A Leak Or The Dipstick Is Blowing Oil--smoke Came Though The Pass Side Dash ... ?? .. ??

someone mentioned this but i will say it again:
if your pcv valves are clogged or if they are not there this will force the crank pressure and head pressure to get stuck and when that happens it causes the pressure to release as a burp sort of speak, this will make oil gurgle out or the block in a few spots pass/driver vc and even dipstick. That is probably what is ging on, not much to worry about. Replace pcvs and if you dont have that system theres not much you can do. hth
