The blue really sets it off. Great build and love the complimenting brake calipers, etc.

Man!! That is a beautiful truck! Nice work!! Wish I had the time and money to put into making mine that nice. Then again, I would be afraid to driver it anywhere with all the yahoos on the road texting while driving 50 in the fast lane on the freeway. If I put the money and effort into a build like that and someone hit it I would loose it.
Keep up the great work! Your attention to detail is incredible. Can't wait to see it finished!

Re: pics of my sy #2695

Haven't been working on the sy that much, but I need to update this thread a little. installed the ss mirrors, side windows, and the Spormachines outer window trim and the fit is perfect. Started making new inner door insulation panels using Dynamat 1/2 foam. Also got new glove box stickers made had one done in a silver carbonfiber and one done in plain black, still don't know which one Iam putting on, but Iam leaning toward the carbonfiber. the whole truck is very dusty will have to clean for better pics.

A bit more done today. I installed the Dynamat door insulation panels I made, put on the new Syclone glovebox sticker I decided to go with the carbon fiber. Also I did the carbon fiber in the console shift indicator and painted the pointer blue to match, installed the Sportmachines lower rad hose and removed the half of the hvac box to refinish looks blotchy (sorry for the poor pics).

Re: pics of my sy #2695

Haven't updated in a while. I was waiting on some parts that I got this weekend. I had the piping in the door panels changed from red to blue, recovered the headliner, and recovered the console lid, and still waiting for the seats to be done. Also received part that were powder coated and ceramic coated. Then I painted the a/c box, and installed a remote radio antenna since I shaved the factory one.

Re: pics of my sy #2695

Started to make some more progress. I recently changed careers from being a mechanic for GM for 12 years to being a oil field operator. I did the change in the middle of January and now being on a 8 on and 6 off shift I have some time to work on the sy and actually want to now.

Finally got my seats back with the new blue piping installed

Also mounted the atr aux intercooler and b&m trans cooler with braided lines and you can see the new lmc crystal headlamps installed with powder coated buckets and retainer ring

Installed the Ty steering wheel from Spormachines

Pic of the engine bay so far still kind of messy because the wires are still not connected and just hanging around and if you look close you can notice the shiny powder coated fender well on the drivers side

Also got the brakes bled, rear belltech sway bar installed the frt belltech sway bar installed and tommorow get to go and get the rest of the parts from powder coating. Then I can finally install the intake, turbo, upper intercooler and possibly get this truck running soon.

Re: pics of my sy #2695

Did some more work on my days off. I received the intake back from the powder coat as well as the turbo, and the upper intercooler.

The intake after sandblasting also spent a bunch of time smoothing it out not pictured

After powder coat done in gloss black and the letters are hand painted body color

The turbo

Also installed the new Sportmachines dp

Installed the receiver dryer, the a/c lines, the silicone coolant hoses from Sportmachines, the rpm polished 58mm throttle body, installed all new black silicone vacuum lines, Sportmachines egr delete cover had powder coated to match

Removed the older rusty exhaust

Re: pics of my sy #2695

Well good news it Started on the first try YAAAAAAAY!!! and I got it on video. Having problems uploading so once It uploads I'll post. Only one oil leak from the relocate adapter on the block. Also got the pleasure of installing the frt sway bar :fist:. I installed te rear sway bar as well and definitley was alot easier than the frt. Then I thought I should finish off the interior by putting in the 2 gauge pod with trans temp and boost.
