Interesting & thanks for the posting.

Notice the 4.155" bore. Numbers would be worse w/a 4.0" bore.

Can you post some pics of the chambers? Did they open/layback/unshroud the chamber walls @ all?

Re: ported L35 flow #s

the main reason i flowed them was to see the gain ill be getting from doing the pontiac head swap, my bore is 4.125, and he didnt have that size of adapter so used the closest one.

ill be cleaning them up a bit more and ill take so pics

Re: ported L35 flow #s

they are unshouded
i think the ports way have been raised the lower intake has been welded up around the top of the port and the injector boss
i may be offering these up forsale as a complete package when the heads are cleaned up with new springs

Re: ported L35 flow #s

Thanks for posting the pics.

Was wondering what is the part number on those heads?

I have not seen up close the L-35 heads & I did not know the intakes also have a high swirl intake port like the LB4 heads.

That high swirl vane in the intake port is why the flow numbers are low.

I was told if you remove that vane the flow numbers increase dramatically, but I have heard some of those vanes are solid & some are hollow. The solid vanes are the ones you can remove completely.

The high swirl design are great for low end torque.
