Howdy,

Just wanted to let everyone know that John did a really nice job welding up my intake to fit the Vortec heads. He also spent a serious amount of time porting the intake and matching it to the 1203 gaskets. I spent a little time cleaning up some of the welds for cosmetic reasons, but, other than that, everything worked and fit exactly like it was supposed to.

If I remember correctly, it was about $450 (may have gone up a little since) and took about 3 weeks round trip. He did mine back in the spring -- should have mentioned it earlier, but I got caught up in other things, and it slipped my mind.

John even welded up around the injector bosses and the back of the mounting flanges (where it bolts to the heads), so he could open up the intake passages as high as the top of the ports in the heads.
