Cometic just clean brake cleaner.

use lacquer thinner not brake cleaner, brake cleaner leaves A resudue.

Uses acetone or methanol. on the block deck and head surfaces. Do not use it on the gaskets.
Make sure you wear some rubber gloves when using either chemical.

You can find thinner at any paint store. Lowe's, Home Depot Ext.
