Question about methanol

All I know about methanol is that when I touch it with my hand it feels cold even though it is room temp. I am told it is like this because it draws heat away from my hand. If that is true is it possible to make IC pipes double thick with a layer of methanol between them to help draw heat away from the inner most pipe with the air or water in it?

about 200 reasons why this won't work... quick reasons

pipes aren't good heat exchangers, otherwise you'd see intercoolers that were mere pipes

the methanol evaporates, it absorbs the energy (heat) and changes states, if you sealed in methanol, it wouldn't evaporate, if you could somehow allow it, you'd need to supply lots and lots of methanol.

methanol is highly corrosive

this is kinda like a ' why aren't wheels square ' question , but independent creative thinking is encouraged 8)
