question about syclone interior

On my 91 Syclone there is a toggle switch and a light right above the headlight switch. It dosen't do anything so I'm not really sure what it is. I just always asumed that it was something someone has added because my dad's syclone dosen't have one but then today I saw a picture of a syclone for sale on ebay that had the same switch and light. So I was wondering if it is factory, maybe a burglar alarm or something. Can anyone help me out?

I wouldnt say alarm but if I had to guess it sounds like a lockup switch. Not 100% sure what it does but know a lot of people have them in which case it is doing something so its probably better to leave it off until you find out what it is doing:)

yeah I never though about it being a lock up switch. I'm definetly gonna quit flipping it trying to figure out what it does

oh and thankss for the welcome glad to be here.

Umm, yeahh it could be an egg o' matic mounted in the glove box. Look, why don't we go ahead and trace the wiring to found out where it really goes instead of guessing. MMkayy? Grreeeaaat. :p
