radiator flush

I flushed my radiator tonight and hooked up my new heater core. Went bad right before summer so i put in a new one then bi passed it. Dont really know how necessary the flush but im sure its good for the radiator. Any one else done this? I used Zyertex brand 10 minuate flush.

Yes flushing the radiator is good as it removes any corrosive build up... do it every two years for the green stuff. Red stuff is supposedly 5 years, but still unproven too many people...
