Razor alky injection install done - one small issue

OK, the Razor alky injection system is completely installed and wired up...feels good to have that done and over with; there are a lot of wires to hook up with this thing! Anyway, pushing the test button turns on the pump and the spray pattern coming out of the M15 nozzle is beautiful. I installed the low alky and pump active LEDs on the triple gauge pod per the instructions. Low alky LED is working perfectly, but I'm having an issue with the pump/spray LED - it's illuminated with the system armed, although only about half-lit. If I push the test button, the LED lights up bright like it should. I hooked LED gray wire up to the PAC controller and the black wire to good ground, not sure why it's lit with the system simply armed. I played with the "turn-on" and "initial" knobs on the back of the PAC. Turning the "initial" knob full counterclockwise dims the LED almost completely; turning it past 1 o'clock turns on the pump and the LED goes fully lit.

Anyone know why the LED could be on? I'd like to have it just be on or off like the old SMC setup I had. If I can fix this, I guess I could just move the gray LED wire from the PAC to the positive wire going to the pump? OK, enough rambling...this alky system is really sweet, I'll post some pics soon. Had to get really creative with the overflow, pump, and reservoir locations, but it all worked out really well in the end.

I'd ask Julio, the guy that makes the setups. He held my hand through my installation of the setup. He's the man.

Its either setup wrong or it might have some solder issues on the board. Either way could be an easy fix.

Are you running MSD or some sort of ignition booster?

My guess is you're getting EMI from this. Mine began to do the EXACT same thing after I installed my MSD 6a. MSD makes a capacitor for the MSD that runs about $35 that I was considering adding in to see if it helps this issue. Being hooked directly to 12v though you would think that the battery acting as a big capacitor would prevent this but nope.

Either way, Julio will get back to you with the fix.

I only run the MSD Blaster coil and ProBillet distributor. Julio said he's seen this before and it was due to a poor ground or low voltage to the controller. My Optima RedTop battery is completely toast from the truck sitting for over a year. I actually had the battery charger hooked up when testing the system, maybe this is the issue. Otherwise, Julio suggested I move the ground which I will also try. Will let you know what the solution turns out to be.
