Rear wiper/keyless problem

Hey, I just picked up a sweet low mile Ty and am having some minor problems. First is that the rear wiper does'nt work for some reason, the rear washer works but the wiper won't work.
Second is I can't program my keyless remote, when I jumper a and g nothing happens. I tried on my other truck and it worked so I know I'm doing it correct. I checked under the console and the module looks good and is still plugged in. Any ideas?

It's a 93. I just checked the wires for the rear wiper where they come out of the trim and they are a bit tore up. They're still somewhat together but barely. The doors both lock and unlock when using the inside switch. The guy I bought it from said that the rear hatch doesn't always pop when you hit the button. I checked and it's working right now. It doesn't have a alarm that I can find on it. The dome light turns off when I close the doors but the map light on the mirror stays on for about 20 sec. I checked pin G and it was a purple wire.

Update. I just checked the plug and there is power at the wiper motor. So I'm guessing the motor is bad it looks pretty nasty. And my hatch stopped popping from inside, I can hear it trying to though. I also checked the volts from the ALDL a and g it was 6.14 V or so.

Sounds good, thanks for the help. The rear motor had both wires with power when turned on. And only one with power when turned off.

With the rear glass popper, you might have to adjust the latch. There is some adjustability to the mechanism. You have to pull the interior cover off of the rear gate and remove a plastic/tape thing to get inside the tail gate to get at it.

Or you might have a bad actuator. Mine did this and it was an adjustment that was needed.

Take a look at it closely while someone else hits the button. You should be able to get an idea of what it needs.

Alright, I got the rear wiper going. I was wondering if anyone had a wiring diagram for the 93 keyless module? I'm wondering if there was ever a alarm on it and was trying to figure out what wires are supposed to go to what.

Do you mind if I ask where you got the RKE module from. Mine is doing the same thing and I'm looking for one for a "93 Ty.
