rock hard brake pedal

[too many toys]

has anyone expirienced a solid pedal after strong acceleration where you have no brakes what so ever for 15-20 seconds after you let off and then they are fine? what causes this and any way to fix it?

I have done a lot of racing in my truck but never had the pedal go solid on me, are you getting a BRAKE light or anti-lock light??? Sounds serious I would get it fixed ASAP.

Definatly sounds like a bad brake check valave on the breake booster.
