I have used it (never on my Sy though) with good results. I would pull the vacuum hose off of the brake booster and stick it in the can of Seafoam. Then just fire the engine up and let it suck it out. If it stalled I would pour the rest in the gas tank, if it continued to run I would shut it off after the can was empty. Let it set for at least 30 minutes before reconnecting the hose and firing it back up. White smoke would pour out of the exhaust pipe looking like cotton, and I would just let it run till it quit smoking.
Used it on my 01 Xtreme, my 85 S10 Blazer, my wifes 99 Durango, and my wifes 94 Cavalier about once a year. Never any incident other than it can be hard to restart, and with small displacement motors it's easy to hydrolock them. :2cents:
