I had an almost new fuel pump go out within a few weeks of running it through the fuel system in my Blazer. That's the first and last time I did that.

I used it a 3.8 GM motor and it seemed to work very well. I couldn't get the car to idle very well and after I ran some of it through throttle body while it was running the car idled perfect. That was the only time I tried it and I had good results.

I have used it (never on my Sy though) with good results. I would pull the vacuum hose off of the brake booster and stick it in the can of Seafoam. Then just fire the engine up and let it suck it out. If it stalled I would pour the rest in the gas tank, if it continued to run I would shut it off after the can was empty. Let it set for at least 30 minutes before reconnecting the hose and firing it back up. White smoke would pour out of the exhaust pipe looking like cotton, and I would just let it run till it quit smoking.
Used it on my 01 Xtreme, my 85 S10 Blazer, my wifes 99 Durango, and my wifes 94 Cavalier about once a year. Never any incident other than it can be hard to restart, and with small displacement motors it's easy to hydrolock them. :2cents:

I've never used it in the Ty, but use it in the Blazer, the jimmy, and the wife's Corrolla. I've used it many times for other people, never had a issue. It it petrolium based, so it wont cause any prblems with your oil or fuel. We sell it like water in the dessert at work. My bosses marina use it all the time. The dealership I worked for used it like there was no tommorrow. I have seen an engine that had shiverred like it was -40 before i used it to run perfectly smooth afterward. I'd use it!
