Severe water spots on glass

No. 7 Heavy Duty Rubbing Compound (or similar) and some elbow grease.
BEWARE not to rub any on the paint, for it will scratch the hell out of it and will be EXTREMELY noticible on black. If you have a small electric buffer, that will help a lot, but around the edges I suggest you do it by hand.
Also, the addition of a little water might make things a little easier to work with (thins out the compound) but in turn will make it less abrasive in quality, you will have to play around and see what works best for you.

white Vinegar works awesome. put it in a spray bottle and use a plastic scrubbie thing, I have no idea what they call them for real, wooven plastic thing. works good to remove bugs from paint as well but I'd 50/50 with water or it will strip wax and don't use the scrubbie on paint, only glass.
