travelling westbound on masspike, light traffic. as I am going from the toll booth I see this beautiful black, low, widebody benz. I go closer behind him in the leftmost lane to investigate as he is stuck behind a couple cars, and notice the badges on the back, SL55 AMG. sweet, I hope he'll play, I think to myself. so I keep 1-2 car lengths behind him, close enough to show I mean business, but without riding his ass like a prick. we are going about 65. the 2nd car in front of him finally moves over. I get a feeling that when the neon in front of him moves (its way clear) he will punch it. I see the neons turn signal going on... getting ready for it... as the neon moves over I punch it in anticipation to build boost. proves to be a wise move, as the sl55 is gunning it. i am steady with him up to 75-80, then he pulls about a quarter car length, then we are even, and around 95, I start walking on him very, very slowly till 105, then we are even again up to 115.
we do this a few more times, same result. later on he pulls to the middle lane (probably expecting a ricer fly by or cops) I just pull up slowly to him, going to give him props on the ride, but he wont do eye contact.... he pulls behind me and I punch it, but guess he doesnt want to play anymore cause he gets 5-10 car lengths behind by 120. my exit is coming up so I pull behind traffic in the right lane. as he passes by his girlfriend keeps looking over at me. unfortunately I had to take the exit but I did make it to my destination way ahead of time.
this was a shocker cause I heard those benz are nasty on top end. the ty is running much better now especially top end, pulling hard after 90, no tach flutter today. probably cause its 20 degrees out. cant wait to take it to the track this year.
