got my srp piston today but got a? under the piston it says srp 40D are these 40 over or 30. anyone with pic post them please

my best guess would be if the piston doesn't have a ".030" or any reference of a "30" anywhere else on it, then it's probably a .040 over if it says "40d"....I can't verify this for you right now because my srp's are put away in my motor right now....you could always go to the nearest machine shop and they'll gladly measure one for you on the spot (best bet).... :2cents:

don't waste your time, this topic comes up all the time. mine are 30 over and they say 40d on the bottom also. you have nothing to worry about.
