Anyone have info on the 1991 GMC Sonoma SST?

Re: Sst?

Wasn't the SST kit a ground effects package offered by Godfather's Customs or ECC in the 90's? I know that kit was available aftermarket, and IIRC, you got some decals with it.

Re: Sst?

That's about as much info as I've been able to uncover. I e-mailed Godfather Customs but no response so I found the # and called ~ they have no idea??

Also mentioned was Choo Choo Customs.

It's just a body cladding kit it seems.

4.3, 5 speed, A/C & tilt is about it w/ body kit, GMC SST stickers and custom wheels.

Re: Sst?

Wow! This is strange, just yesterday I passed by a parked truck close to where I live. At first I thought it was a sonoma gt, but turned back around and drove by it and it was a sonoma sst. Looked a lot like this one but the decal (sonoma sst) was a in a straight line. I just thought it was a poor Attempt at a sonoma gt, but now I'm not sure.

Re: Sst?

I have a bunch of trucking books from the late 80's to mid 90's when mini trucking was the craze. I should go look throught them. Choo-choo customs was a big player in those days.

Re: Sst?

kentuc: Yes, I've been through that already. I asked on the S10forum which way would look best. I agree that rearwards would look best.

Norm: Cool, let me know if you find anything.

Jimmy: I saw that thread/post but the original ad photo must have been removed and replaced with a drab plain Jane S10??

Re: Sst?

Thanks but unfortunately they're still the same here in person and still missing one center cap on the other side! :)

Those wheels will probably be history soon [I'll keep them though].
