stall or not?

i got my typhoon in december and have played with it some but when i got it it had some stuff done to it and wondering if matbe i have a small stall in it or if its stock.

truck has high milage but runs,drives,shifts great. anyways i can pump the brakes up good and hard and the rpms on the stock tack goes up to 2500rpms, at 2600 its starts to spin the rear tires but doesnt move, thats also dead on 6pounds on the autometer cobalt gauge.

whats the verdict? :lol:

Best way to find the truth about something is to observe with your own eyes!! Take a look at the converter itself, pull the inspection shield if you're really curious. My factory stock converter was an ugly gold color, fairly tight, I would say it stalled around 2100-2200 RPM. Keep in mind that once you build boost, the engine Torque changes and as a result, the converter stall speed goes up. It can be like a snowball rolling down a hill once you build boost. I was able to stall my stock converter up to 2950 RPM once by building a crazy amount of boost on the line as a test.
