steering column special?

Is ty steering column just regular ol' s10/15 or special for our vehicles ... or, in fact, would camaro or something else from early 90s work?

Since there's nothing in the sy/ty-specific manual I'm assuming it's a general s10/15 application but wanted to check w/experts before doing anything (else) stupid .

According to the local 'used parts dealer' typhoon and sonoma are the only ones that share columns

they are not special. they are the regular manual tranny collum's hence the key lockout.

yea they came in black blue gray and i thin a red but i am not shure on that
