Stiff Steering

After my truck has been sitting for a while, it is hard to steer. It has a stiff jerking feeling but once I move the steering wheel around for a few seconds, it goes away. I checked the steering fluid and it is full. Any suggestions???

mine will do that every once in a while also. Anybody?

all it could be is the pump. try changing the oil. it could just have some tarnish or dirt in it.
