Anyone know the GM part numbers for stock replacement front brake calipers, '93 Ty? Gm lists 8 part numbers on their computer.

they should be able to find it using the last 8 of the vin. i never heard of 8 diffrent ones from the dealer. why not go with a well known aftermarket replacement brand caliper?

They have my VIN, I don't know if it helped but I'll ask tomorrow. I haven't found an aftermarket replacement that is new, I prefer not to deal with rebuilt parts. Mainly I'm chasing a soft brake pedal that annoys me. The truck stops but pedal fell is lousy, like a late 90's full size truck. My Sy has a much firmer pedal and so do most of the trucks I maintain.

Not saying that a caliper isn't your issue, but do you still have the stock ABS unit. My pedal got alot better after I deleted it. :2cents:

ABS has been deleted. New master and booster. New rear wheel cylinders. All I have left are the fronts to do, so new rotors, calipers, pads and Russell braided lines front and rear are next.
