Gentlemen,

Gimme some advice on Mods needed to pep up my SoGT.

I plan on Headers first.....What kind do you recommend?

2nd Will be a custom intake mod that will utilize a cone filter.

3rd, I plan on installing a performance exhaust muffler with a free flow cat.....Suggestions, anyone?

Then next.....I don't know, throw me a bone......

Thanks in advance

It.

Intake, exhaust, cam, heads, etc...

It all depends on how far you wanna go, with how much $

Yes, GT's have posi inthe rear. Lots of little mods you can do... Email me when you are ready to dig in. You can see pics of my truck "Work in Progress" HERE. I have a pair of Eagle Performance headers that will fit your GT. (on the mock up pic of engine) You'll have to have a crossover pipe made to connect them to stock exhaust unless you are going custom all the way back.

Re: Suggestions for SoGT Mods...

Basicly, I am looking to open up the intake with a custom (made by me) intake w/ cone filter.
Besides that, I want to open up the exaust too. Maybe with some headers, free flow cat, performance muffler. I figure I should be able to keep it under $1000 for those and be able to shave 1 second off of the 1/4 mile time.

What kind of traction bars are out there for my truck?

And then, I am looking for a good set of all-round shocks too, any recommendations?

Thanks in advance,

Intake - Port it and put on a cone filter

Headers would be nice

Gibson makes a very nice 2 1/2" stainless exhaust that i just put on my black GT

Someone Makes a Cat - (can't remember who)

Battle Bars are the way to go - CBRPerformance.com

that's about it
