It has been in my friends basement for over a year now it has a cracked piston. The motor is ready to come out. I just cant decide how much to build it. I don't have the time I live in Knoxville so it is hard to get down there to work on it.

Seems about right for a truck in that condition with a dud engine....From what you've said, the engine wasn't blown up, so the block might be reusable. Post the VIN if you can, it can/will aid in tracking the history of this truck.

I'd like to see some motor shots? Do you have any shots of the complete vehicle? Have you started taking the truck apart to remove the engine? Hows the cladding, does the truck have any rust? Also what is the vin number?

Still no vin number.... Auction also states the truck has 101,000 miles. On the forum here it says 111,000 miles. Auction says the truck is located near Wildwood GA, which is closer to Atlanta than Chattanooga, TN.

Also I think I remember seeing this truck on eBay before.
