Hi, im new to the syclone world, i recently bought a sy#781 from a member called Syntist so maybe someone knows this truck a lil bit (mods in signature).

so.. here's my problem: the truck feels faster a part throttle than it does at WOT. i did alot of searching on this one. i recently installed these parts: brand new MSD cap/rotor/coil, brand new ngk ur6's gapped@ 0.030", replaced all vacuum lines, brand new 02 sensor, checked all the intercooler/turbo fittings for leaks, ajusted the throttle cable cause it was a bit weak, ajusted the IAC, ajusted the TPS.

And still, the truck feels like i has the power but can't use it all. i can see the boost gauge hit 16 psi but i dont feel the power at all. I can do a boost launch at 4-5 psi without a problem but when it gets into 2nd gear it just dies. it's running pig rich at idle(around 880mv++) fuel pressure is set at 42psi (with vacuum line disconnected&plugged). i know my EGR valve is bad but it's stuck fully closed so i doubt this is the problem since im running on prom T116 and it doesn't use the EGR. im running 94 octane just for the info. i also get code 45: o2 sensor rich.

i do not have datamaster yet.

Does any SyTy freak can gimme a hint please?? it would be very appreciated.:roll:

You're trying to find a needle in a haystack blindfolded.
Without some diagnostic tool (Datamaster, TunerPro, etc.) it's just guessing what the problem could be.
On of the more common problems is knock retard. Knock retard can be real (detonation) or it can false (bad knock sensor, torque converter, a lost tool rattling around, etc.)
Maybe a problem with the wastegate. Too many unknowns.

Play it safe & don't drive it or at least stay out of boost ( I know it's hard to do) until you do get Datamaster or whatever.
