There's a field day to be had with this ad.. I spotted at least 3 appalling errors. Anyone?

My opinion it can tow. Tongue weight is the limiting factor due to the springs and short suspension travel.

Compare the stress of getting hammered at every stoplight you stop at to towing 2000 lbs riding on ball-bearing equipped wheels.
The towing is easier IMO

According to GMC, you can tow with a Syclone.

If anyone wants a copy of this Truck Service Bulletin, let me know and I'll email you a copy.

Umm I didn't really feel that strong about it. Damn explorer didn't do anything when I hit submit. At least that what it looked like to me

If only you could fix a syty by pulling to the side of the road, closing all the windows and restarting it.......

Not to harp on the towing issue  I noticed in my 1992 sportsmachine brochure with the Sy, Ty and Sonoma GT that the Sonoma GT was rated at 6000lbs towing/964lbs cargo box and sits 1.3" higher. I think a Sy could tow, but a stock tranny is already exceeding it torque capacity and you need to make sure the truck isn't constantly in boost because of the load or teh oil would get really hot.
