No way.
Same email addy that I've had for years. And it's not like they are being filtered by junk mail filter.
I've tried changing it to my work email addy & nothing shows up there either.

I changed my email to another one I have.
I got the notification that I needed to click the link to verify my email addy.
Lets see what happens with instant notification now.

OK, I've got another issue. (Sorry). My e-mail addy is set to an old AOL account that I haven't had for 8 years.

My current e-mail is "removed"

I have tried numerous times to change it to the above gmail account. But I get a "Your e-mail address has been banned" message. I guess you guys don't like gmail. But is there a way to let me use it anyway? It's the only e-mail account I have.

I also tried the "Contact Us" method, but it said "You entered an invalid e-mail address". So that didn't work either.

Finally!
Instant Notifications are working again for me.
To get it to work, I had to create a disposable email addy for my sbc account.
I don't understand why it quit working with my regular email addy, but as long as it works it's fine by me.

I am just glad we finally got it resolved.
i am going to keep digging on your original email addy though.
no reason it will deliver to one sbcglobal acct and not another.

Keep the comments coming guys we are trying to fix things and improve on them as we move forward.
For me, I am lovin the new update but there are a lot of features for the mods / admin that you guys dont get to see! :lol:

The new user registration is down from 30+ a day to around 5ish, which was normal.
The 30+ a day was the freaking spammers just hammering on us.
And that was a daunting task to weed through registrations everyday and try to determine who was legit and who was a spammer.

On the home page, left column, normally it shows all the Usernames Online, since the upgrade it only shows a series of commas ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,.

This is one of the only bugs remaining that I still notice.

Got some kind of glitch that just started. Starting today, I need to log back in even though I click to "remember me". Sometimes if there's a second page to a thread, I'll have to log back in again to see the second page. Is this part of the upgrade, or did I do something without realizing it?

make sure your browser is accepting cookies. it has nothing to do with our upgade.

I also have the same problem for the past 2-3 days. It works if I use the login on the far left, but the one at top right (above the green toolbar) is the one that seems to malfunction consistently.
