does anyone know the exact size for the adapter to tranny bolts so i can just buy some in bulk and quit paying 10x what they're worth? i noticed mcmaster carr has various sizes in bags of 100 for $6 (shipping will probably double that). when buying from them they ask for very specific sizes, i think 10mm ID with a width of 1.5mm is right, but i don't know for sure.

That O ring that seals the trans is really square instead of round and if memory serves me correct the groove thats machined in the housing is made to accept the "square" seal. That doesnt mean a reg O ring couldnt work but it may be a slow mess on the garage floor type leak if it doesnt.

Sorry, dont know the size of it though.

Get either the CD-Rom, or a line assembly manual. I ordered a set of them a while ago from Gary. Don't think they were that expensive and I can't remember the part number off the top of my head. They're in the pile of parts in the garage somewhere.

Ask if anybody can check their manual and get you a part number.

Heres the GM part number for the O rings that go on the bolts but it may have changed by now since the number is out of the original parts manual. Any decent parts guy should be able to cross it over if its changed.
