All the auto parts stores I've talked to show a 4 and 2 wheel drive option under Typoon. I tell them it's awd but sits low, I am concerned about shock "travel". They said the 2wd shocks wont mount on it.

What do you guys think/know. They are Monroe Sensatrak shocks. Do I buy the 4wd or 2wd shocks??

I know the parts people are idiots, but just how stupid are they?

you want 4wd KYB

you want 4wd KYB

You definately want the KYB shocks and if they ask just tell them 4wd.. Those sensatrak shocks suck.. I wasted $$ on a set before I got the KYBs...

What type of ride are you looking for? I have the Bilstein HO's that are valved for SyTy's and they ride pretty firm(92' Typhoon). My Dad has Monroe Sensatrac's and they ride pretty smooth and he is happy with them(93' Typhoon) and I believe they for the 4WD Jimmy's. Do not let other people sway you from them if you are looking for a smooth ride. My Ty is lowered and I have 40 profile tire's so I new my truck would ride rough, so I chose the Bilstein's.
