Timing chain recommendations?

Howdy,

What would y'all recommend for a timing chain set for a SyTy motor? I'm looking for brand & model (part number), as well as any experience (good or bad) that you've with it/them.

Also, has anyone tried a timing belt system? Would anyone recommend using one vs a chain? How durable are they? Do they really make any difference, either in timing accuracy or valve train noise? Has anyone tried the Comp Cams Magnum wet belt kit?

TIA,
Bill

I have the comp dry belt on my motor. but it requires more machining of the block and a differnt cam as do ANY belt drive system. I like it but it's pricy and you have to replace the belt every year.

I'd use a edelbrock double roller or a comp double roller and be done with it.

cloyes is nice, but double the money of the edlebrock ones. We sell both, but the edlebrock seems to work just as well and is around $59.

John, why did you use the belt setup, is it for ease of adjustment of the advancing/retading of the cam, does it make less noise, or isit just way more accurate.

all the above and from what I'm told it's worth a few hp.
