Believe me... I'm 18 and own a 93 ty. I worked at Schucks and those people are dumba$$es. Nobody there knew what a Typhoon was until I drove it to work and explained it to them. Ur right... your generation does know a lot more about cars than my generation, cuz now it's just all new mercedes that you can't work on anyway. But hey... there are some of us out there still tryin to keep up with the old farts.

I'm one of the Old Farts and have an Old Farts Racing Team Staff T-Shirts too. I'm driving the Sycone to work tomorrow because 1 of the new guards heard that I had one and is all jazz about seeing one. I usually that it on Thursdays, but with the Fire that was burning in Yucaipa from a 16 year old fire bug. I didn't (just incase they had the road close that I take to work) and it turned out that I had to go off roading to get to work. I glad that I took the van today.

HAHAHAH 1st gen extreme... lol , I have heard that before.

I also get vettes' laughing at me when I want to hit the stoplight with them. "your s10 with a bodykit isnt worth my gas" .

You think you don't get recognized in a Sy/Ty, like nobody knows what it is, try driving a Shelby/Dodge car....

you get noticed but not in that way lol..
