is there anyway to find out if that stall is really a 2800?.. and you never used it but it has been used?.

I don't know of a way to verify the stall. I never used the convertor. The guy I bought it from said it was in a Syclone for like 5k miles if I remember correctly.

For the pte44 turbo, what all should I change on the stock truck for it to to work/spool correctly.
Also, what will a non lock up converter do to the truck, more power? Less gas mileage. I just want a little bit more punch out of my old stocker.

Really if you change anything on your truck like turbo,injectors, ect. You will need a way to tune your truck for these changes. Really even a stock truck could be made to run better it if it was setup so it could be tuned. I use code$59. It works very well.

Now to use this turbo it will not bolt directly to the stock downpipe. I think a PTE or RPM downpipe has to be used. I think it would work with stock injectors and converter. But probably would be better wit a 2600 or 2800 stall.

On the lockup and nonlockup. I really can't tell you ths advantages or disadvantages of either. I will try to find this info out for you.
