I am sure not everyone knows about the thread I have going called :a few pics of my winter project" in the Members projects and Photos section. well if you don't here is a video for you of the progress so far. Trans came out this morning and motor will be out Friday morning. New motor is going in this weekend along with the trans. I will get a nice video of it for everyone and Dyno videos also making 1000+hp next week. The trans was slipping in this video. I had glazed the clutches and it is being taken care of in the morning by RPM Transmissions while I wait :tup:

Awesome.... I can't wait to see what they do for the next one.

BIG thanks to RPM Transmissions in Daleville, In http://www.rpmtransmissions.com/ for the trans work today. I took it up there and they grabbed it out of the back of the vehicle and started working on it right then and there. I drove 2-1/2 hrs up there this morning and I and back home now with it completely finished up. I smoked the clutches in 1st, 2nd, and 4th gear. There was a loose bolt found among other things in the trans that was not good :) Its all good now, they even put my converter on and ran it up on the trans dyno to make sure I was taking it back in 110% condition. The price was RIGHT also :tup: THANKS GUYS ! ! !

The new motor and trans will be going in Saturday morning. Can you say 1000+ hp Sunday :lol:

I will have a nice video and pic of the dyno sheet ASAP.

I heard he was putting new motor in after doing some cleanup, not sure any other details yet.

He ha said he was heading to race it this saturday, he has a lot to get done in quick time.

Yes.... its all true.... Lots of work to do real soon.

Heading to the shootout this coming weekend over in London, KY.
New built ls motor is in and am working on the details.

I will have more videos up soon. Just real busy right now is all.

Wasn't the trans a 4L80? How do you smoke all the clutches in such a brief period of time? I'm interested in hearing more about this 4L80 failure.

There was a loose pressure bolt in the trans. PM me and I can fill you in more :)

Truck has been @ Fast Track Performance getting tuned. Should be able to pick it up tomorrow I hope. I just wanna see what a 1000hp feels like at the wheels on the street. :D
