After that I did not stomp on it till that night with Jeremy. He made my truck look sad. My truck did 13.5 stock and thats about what I was doing with the smoked trans. Don is close to 12's with a only a few mods. Traction is keeping him away from a 12 second run right now. When you start to hit low 12's things start to go bad.

A 60 trim turbo should be able to go high 10's IMO. BUT at that point you will find the turbo isn't the weak link in the system and what is holding you back. It will be other parts.
With your upgrades and good tuning it's possible to run a 11.9X.......at least I think so. You couldn't break your tires loose before the turbo? Damn, I need to get my TY to the track then to get some numbers because it feels really strong and I can break them loose. It's been raining lately up here and I like it because there's a speed bump on my road and after I go over it and shift into 2nd(about 10mph) I just floor it and break all 4 loose while sliding sideways. :rotf:gjp said:Could have been the trans slipping. Who knows. I still dont think I will be that fast. Mid 12's probably. I have only gotten my tires to spin 2 times. and that was right after my build. before the turbo I could not break loose the tires. My trans probably has been going out for a long time and the added power killed it fast. So what I have learned from this is to spend the $$ to bullet proof the truck first then add power to it. I rather have a stock 13second truck that you can bash then a 11 second truck that sits in the garage.!
