TX Summer meet date poll

Well in the works and I need to get everyone's opinion on a date within the entire summer here in Texas. It is now the end of the 2011 race season. Texas syty'ers did not pull off the large meet as I kinda attempted last minute. I now have plenty of reason to give a poll to set a for sure summer date for 2012. Summer to me begins in May through August. So what we all need to do is decide by the end of the year what dates (2 days) Saturday and Sunday for a Texas style SyTy meet. Take your time and use to the best of your knowledge what will suite you. After a date is decided I will need a approximate attendance count to reserve a park,Hotel, and track time.

Where you ask? About as central texas as it gets, Holland Texas. www.littleriverdragway.net

Park, Hotel for saturday and saturday night is undecided at this time. It will be within 1 hour from the racetrack.

Please save all your input for the next post and please lets decide what timeframe at this time to stay on subject. Lets all decide on a month and then we will talk days.

I myself have not voted at this time, im going to wait before the poll ends december 31, 2011 I have to double check my calander.

I'm good for any month....but went with sweltering month of August in hopes that will give me enough time to get the truck put together and on the road. Would really like to bring the truck to this one...

It's going to happen, have plenty of time to get things togather even for may. Enough notice for everyone to plan also. Trying to orginize somthing even small at even a months notice never worked for everyone last year.

When the poll closes newyears eve we will have our voted month to start a new thread with a new poll for the saturday and sunday of choice. It may also have to accomodate a weekend the track is not having a event, not going to be a problem at all.

Im planning on getting T-shirts made also prior to the event. If this turns out as good as i plan it too maybe mext year we can have trolphies too.

I am leaning towards July or August for my vote, I want to give myself and all the guy's that have a project going ample time to finish. I still strongly reccomend everyone to join truck or no truck.

I'm good with whenever or wherever. Our 2012 show schedule has not been announced that far ahead though (which I am at the mercy of).

June seems to be in the lead, Im leaning torwards August to possibly bring my Syclone if i can manage to finish it by then. At least my Ty any month, any reason why anyone cant attend a certain month?

I'm down for whenever, just need a date. I plan to have my Tyclone there even if I have to trailer it. Yet I'd prefer to drive it. Lol
