Ty 1893 is not longer Phoonerorlaters

Well I traded in the Ty today for an SRT-4. I know, I know it is a neon but I have college comming up and a 3k miles trip across country. I needed to get rid of it asap so I can get out and get on with things.I will still be on the board and will own a syty again someday but for now I am out of it for practicality.

sorry to hear about your loss, but I think you'll have some fun with the srt-4.
Where are you going to school? Is it front wheel drive weather?

man, i know how you feel. im sticking it out with the syclone and its rough as hell. i just pray that one day i can look back and say it was all worth it. right now, im contemplating "giving" it to my dad and buying something else. not a good move financially, but at least it gets the sy out of my hands....but not too far out.

It was a dealership in the High Desert. They got a bid from another dealership for $7500. I had to take the loss. Mopar has upgrades available that bring it to 300hp 300tq for a few $k I will go that route once I pay off the money I owe my parents

I think that not only mopar sells go-fast parts but other aftermarket companys may as well. I went to the drags at fontana last weekend and ran my best 1/4 in the Ty, a 13.31 @ 97.97. I went up against an SRT-4 that ran a 12.14!!! :eek: I would go to bet that it took more than 300hp to get there. Unfurtunately i didn't talk to the guy. So I'd say that little car you got has some potential. Congrats Keith and see you next weekend at the meet.

I have worked on every color Srt-4 you can think of, we offer a cold air kit and 3 inch exhaust, and a 3 inch 02 housing for them ( pretty much a mini DP), i will say they may not be the prettiest vehicles, but damn impressive for what they are, personally i dont think i could own one but thats just me, it was hard enough for me to deal with the V6 in my truck, going to a four cylinder would be justifiable homicide in my book

They are ok.I'd like to have a warranty,but wrong wheel drive just turns me off.If it was my money,I'd buy 10 Omni GLH's instead :D

I'm getting there. 3 right now. And I'm parting out a shelby daytona turbo right now too thats sitting in the back yard. So 2 GLHT's, 1 GLHS, 1 daytona, and moms SRT4. There's 5 turbo dodge's. Plus the syclone and my bro's DSM. As you can see our family likes turbo's. :lol:

What color SRT4 did you get? Viper seats? Sunroof? I would assume it's an 04 with the LSD?

Leave it to Dodge.

Unfortunately I am sure the dealership had that Ty out abusing it shortly after they closed for the night.

They couldn't have gone more then 30 miles in the Ty because A. it will over heat and 3 I didnt leave them all that much gas :) I love the SRT. I got red 04 with the LSD, racing seats. Not all leather but part cloth part leather, and the kicker sound system (already has a kicker 10 in the back) I have been going to forums and there are ppl running 13.8 stock on the 04's. Mopar upgrades bring the car to 300hp on a little bigger turbo. Renz's buddy is running 12.7 on the stock turbo. If I put a boost controller on and turn it to 19psi a good driver can turn 13.6.
