ty has crappy idle at start up

my ty has a crappy idle at start up, it some times stalls out too, after it get warm it is ok though also when i put it in park after driving the rpms drop and it some times stalls too, any ideas on what could cause this?

vacuum leak, or ignition problem.

if you search the word stall and my name you will find a ton of posts when i was chasing a stall problem.

fwiw i never did find it, and gave up since i was doing a new motor.

when i removed the lower intake i found the seal there was the problem.

hopefully you will find yours easier than mine.

but like bdubb said vac or ign.

You may have a leaking injector that loads fuel in the cyl

takes a min to burn off? also check timing wire under pass side (brown?)

well im doing the ignition tune-up soon, so ill see if that fixes the problem.
and also i checked the ignition timing and it is at 4deg retard!

now that i have all of the parts to do what i wanted i will be doing the repairs this week, ill let yas knwo how it goes!
