Yeah, the problem is that no one makes a Blazer or Jimmy. Not 1st gen at least.

You could get the general lee and mold the Syclone ground effects onto it. that would be neat!

I'll be doing this with a Johnny Lightning. There are some Matchbox trucks that come with a removable plastic bed cab (have to find one)...and I'll be using it to build a mini-Typhoon. You know, now that I own one.

There was 1 company that made a 1st gen model kit. It was a Chevy S10 Blazer. I will try and find it again. The box art showed a teal blazer on the beach if I recall correctly.

I'll looked around and can't find one first gen blazer, or the typhoon. If anyone finds one, I'll be game to buy one too

There was a company called All American Models that made a model of the 1st gen s10 blazer. They only made the body and frame, and you had to complete it using a Revell a 1st gen s10 pick-up kit. But the company went out of business several years ago.

It seems that the former owner still has the master molds of s10 Blazer but has no intentions of making anymore or letting go of the molds.

Ding, ding, ding. Correct answer. I actually had one of these kits. Bought it at a hobby show. Sold it for >$100.00 on ebay a couple of years ago. Never heard from the buyer as to if he finished the model.

Damn over $35 , with a couple days to go. Seems I remember seeing that at a hobby store years ago. Guess its time to go to garage sale and flea markets to see if anybody is selling them.
