Ultimate at altitude?

I'm a new owner from Denver with a question for the locals (or anyone else with experience with these vehicles at alititude).

Is the ultimate a good choice for use at higher altitudes?
...
or do I need to get (or program) a custom chip?

I like both security feature of Ultimate AND it's flexibility -- like to think I can run street gas safely but also have option to select tune for race gas at strip when 'needed'.

As long as your truck is fairly stock or closely follows one of the standard "recipes", the Ultimate is probably your best choice, regardless of altitude.

Unless, of course, you want to get into custom tuning....
