Ultimate Chip?

Is this an ultimate chip? It says STG Racing 02/03 on the back while the handwritten label says "50# v.4 Stock Motor BAG 4-27-03"




Am I right or is this something else?

So I could put this on my Ty, I just need 50# injectors and a 3 bar map? Also I don't have the "key" that goes to the front on the box and I don't see that exact same style of box on sytychips. I'm guessing the "key" is for security/valet?

Not quite, you would need this and this to make full use of that chip. Sorry, that is not a "plug and play" chip by any means... Your truck had better be running at 100% too, or it will run like crap.

I have the same chip in my truck except mine is for stock injectors. The key is required to lock and unlock the settings. If it is locked, you can't change the program. Typically the only time that you lock it is for the security or valet settings so that no one can change it.

I got this on the Syclone that I just bought. I figured I would take it off and did. Plugged the chip back into it without the box because I figured thats how they are original. But I dont know now since it wouldnt start. So I tried to put it all back the same way and still the truck wont start. Seems like the injectors are not opening. Could I have damaged the ECU? If so, who could tell me where I can get one?

Well the problem with this thing is that it would stall during acceleration. Almost as if there just wasnt enough fuel.

Would depend on what version of Ultimate he has.

May be a basic question but did you disconnect the battery before you unplugged/plugged it?If not I think it might be bad now.?????
