Vacuum leak teat

So i did the tire over the intercooler and pushed air through it but i have a question

Should the air stay in the system and under pressure? I hear air leaking out but not out of any of the vacuum lines. Sounds like its coming from under the throttle body

I introduce air into my system on my typhoon a few months back.

I discovered air was hissing out at the throttle body TPS sensor. Common thing.

To verify use soap detection solution or make your own with a spray bottle and 2 parts soap to 1 part water.

Exactly^^
Soapy water!
Air will escape due to it pushing threw the intake and threw the open valves, that's normal.
But add enough air and spray all vacuum lines with soapy water and watch for bubbles. Common spot I've had happen most is egr and intercooler to tb. Don't forget your lines that run to cruise control!

Does it have the factory "z" bracket that connects the IC to the lower intake manifold. There are 3 brackets,2 that come off the exhaust manifold,and the one that is always missing.It's the one in the middle. My guess is nope. It's really not a vacuum leak per se,but it does effect everything the ecm is trying to read.

Take a hit off a cig (or a joint) and blow smoke through it.

Blow it through the tube into the system?

don't mind them two ....

do yourself a favor and read up on tooky's old school site . powertuneplus.net or com. very good info.

now please purchase an vacuum line kit from sportmachines.net it comes with instructions !

your other post showed broken vacuum lines . these are a must fix . hence the vacuum line kit .

search forum ......... years of info .... a lil elbow grease and $ you should get the syty experience and a smile
