Vacuum Leak

Well I bought the GP vacuum kit and went to have my mechanic replace the lines.

But he stated I have a leak also coming from the climate mode switch in the dash.


Where would I find this switch?
Easy to install? Got instructions some where for the install?

How did he determine this?

Was it working BEFORE he changed the vac lines? The HVAC line that comes from the firewall should shove into the end of the kit on the HVAC portion marked with green tape.

There are also vac lines located behind the dash, some of which connect to the controller. If you have ever had the controller out, it is possible it is loose or has come of during reinstallation.

You can also check the vac lines that go to the diaphrams behind the lower dash panels (black panels) in the center of the dash as well.


Need more info man.... you might be fixing to spend money you dont have to....
