The simple fact that it still has AC is by far the best to me. It looks awesome but having functionality along with speed and looks is awesome. Keep up the work.

Exactly! It isn't fun going to the track when it is in the 90's or stuck in traffic with no a/c. Thanks!

Dyno Day Update

Dyno Day Update

Thanks for posting the video Mike!

With the Buick event happening April 26th - 28th, they are doing dyno days on the 26th and 27th. I will be having my Sy tuned on the dyno April 26th. I will be the last one to be dyno'd that day since they have change over the dyno to AWD. Should be fun!

Everything is together except the rear brakes, but should not be a problem by the 26th.

Dyno Completed

Dyno Completed

I was at Buschur Racing Saturday for their dyno day with the Buick race event up at Norwalk in Norwalk Ohio. The Sy was the first one on the dyno Saturday morning. In total it made 6 pulls. First 3 pulls were cleaning up the fuel maps. 4th pull was the strongest we saw, but also the start of an exhaust leak on the passenger side manifold that would ultimately end the dyno session. 5th showed less power, a louder exhaust leak, and dropping boost levels. The final pull was with 2 degrees more timing, but power and boost were down with a very loud exhaust leak. Everything else was looking good, except the boost dropping. So, in short I am quite pleased, but I wanted it to be a little higher. With the exhaust leak fixed, we could try to do more timing to figure out how it likes it. I posted a few years about dyno numbers, but you always want them to be higher, but if they run the numbers, who cares.

Videos will be up hopefully today or tomorrow. Thanks to Lisa Fischer of Turbostitches.com for the vids!

Avg 540 whp
Avg 528 lb/ft
Shifting 6000 RPM

Tuner: Cal Hartline - Hartlineperformance.com

A few things to put back together and fix the exhaust leak and this project is completed!?
