Valley girdle PRO

I found these on youtube.

It's a lifter valley girdle you bolt into your lifter valley to keep the block from trying to wedge itself apart. Some top name drag racers like 'em. They make them for the 350, so I imagine they could be adapted to a 4.3.

Even if they can't, it gives you an idea of how you can strengthen your block.

Does the stock 4.3 have those 4 little wings like that block shows where the supports touch?

If I were worried about that part of the block splitting I'd just make a valley plate that screwed to those 4 little wings, the spyder holes and the china walls.. :dunno:

The stock block IIRC has only one pad on each side.
