My truck was stolen at one time and the vin was removed. It has been given a NY state vin since then. My question is where else on our trucks can the vin be found?

engine block, underside front lip of hood, frame and most bodypanels are marked ken

where is the vin on the engine, is it visible without taking the motor out/apart

drivers rear of the block, its on a little pad near the cyl head, if the truck was a theft recovery re vined thee state should have the vin number of the original vehicle on file. Ken
