Re: Waiting......

Getting the VIP transport down by itself on a flatbed?

Most shipping companies pick up vehicles from a residence on flatbeds and consolidate the loads in their yards for TT transport. More cost efficient and I would suspect that is the case here.

Yeah, that's how they did mine. I am just sitting here watching Shipping Wars this morning and when I saw this pic was wondering if it was going to be a contender for longest SyTy haul on a flatbed. lol.

Sounds like a plan! The last 2 Sundays, I essentially rebuilt the whole front end...upper and lower control arm bushings, upper and lower ball joints, inner and outer tie rod ends, sway bar bushings and idler arm in preparation for new shoes. She got those put on Friday night and alignment Saturday morning. Rides like smooth glass now.

I did all that work at the craft shop on post. I got my own tools but needed a lift to do that work. If you ever need any help, just let me know. I try to do the projects that'll leave heavier messes there instead of in my garage...I wanna keep it clean as much as I can in my garage.

Yeah, the lifts are getting kinda scarce there, though. They wanted to put me on one of the center one-post lifts and I had to tell them that's a no-go with as low as these trucks sit. They're working on getting more lifts, but they're also at the bottom of the totem pole for funding.
