I keep on telling myself that I'll be driving it by the weekend. That was 12 weekends ago. One step forward - two steps back is what it seems like. & summers over in in 7+ weeks up here. :rant:

Finished up a few things to drop her to the ground. First time off jack stands in 9 months.
Need to do some power connections under the dash and adjust the new fuel pressure regulator and start driving it. Have Good Guys & a wedding this weekend, so I might get it done by sunday.

Got my typhoon back to have some little kid ditch his bike into the side of it turning Into a parking lot and smoking the passenger side rocker cladding...

Climbed into my ty from my wheelchair had some fun playing with traffic at stop lights. Then I took her to get a smog. I didn't bring my chair so I sat in did the throttle for the test. The high side passed no problem let go of the gas to do the idle portion of the test 5 sec into the test the check engine light comes on I already know its a o2 rich code so I casually stretch my hands to cover the check engine light to hide it and proceed to baffle the test operator so he wouldn't notice the bright lite on and it passed the idle test like a champ. I love my ty pos its one of the funnest vehicles I've ever driven. I boosted away down the street with a smile from ear to ear.

Took for M.O.T test and passed with no advisories ,still have my flashing red indicators:tup:
A novelty here in UK.

did my brake upgrades, rear LS1's using LS1 brackets and Kore3 lines, and fronts using Renzfab brackets/lines. Also did the Coilover conversion using QA1's

Changed the fuel filter and installed the ic scoop finally.
Then dropped my phone while taking a picture and cracked the hell out of the screen.

got some more parts back, might go with stock or white face glow gauges, may be a little too dark,
I also installed new heater core!!

Replaced my leaking t-case rear output seal. Drained out the 94 octane and put in 20L of c16 race fuel. Now just waiting on a waste gate show up and hopefully can go racing on Friday.

The old waste gate is causing a major overboost. Tested and the arm doesn't start to move until 28psi is applied and fully opens at about 32psi and the internal flapper does move freely, so if I can get boost back down to 14-15psi that will make me happy. Just trying to get the old turbo working good for now I have my new one on order:D. The race fuel is for insurance.

in the middle of a full body off resto, hooked up the wiring and started the engine after it has been standing still for 6+ yrs :D

I just ordered plugs,wires,and rotor from hood and going to learn to put them in on my ty:)

Got some motivation to get it out and wash it. Its been sitting since June when I had to have it hauled home after the power tour. Decided to wash it and had some help washing it and put it in the garage hoping to get some motivation to work on it.

putting a fresh CV shaft in, snapped the last one racing. Crossing my fingers this one lasts more than 1 pass.

Took my Sy out this last weekend to out to a local annual drag race street legals and it fell on its face. Ran a 14.2 at 94mph and 2.1 60ft with only 8-10psi and about the 800ft mark the truck decided to do nothing. Not sure what happened yet been fighting with the turbo waste gate all summer. Thought I got it, but I guess not.

On the lighter side the drag race event was all weekend, and they had a show'n shine all day Saturday and I took home 2nd place out of 40 cars.
